We design and construct premium decorative concrete driveways, including stencilled concrete driveway patterns, colored finishes, and council crossovers complying with City of Gold Coast specifications.
Get a Quote →Premium slip-resistant aggregate surfaces for patios, pool surrounds, and driveways. We offer a wide range of exposed aggregate concrete colours and mix designs to elevate your home's curb appeal.
Get a Quote →Revitalize worn slabs with concrete driveway resurfacing and crack repairs. We apply polymer-modified covercrete base coatings in diverse covercrete colours and custom concrete stencilling designs.

Get a Quote →We pour a minimum of N25 (25MPa) compressive strength concrete for all residential pathways and patios. For driveways, crossover crossings, and heavy vehicle parking areas, we upgrade to N32 (32MPa) concrete to prevent cracking under weight load.
No shortcuts. We use premium SL72 reinforcing steel mesh on bar chairs to guarantee it sits in the middle third of the slab. For heavy-duty driveways or commercial slabs, we lay SL82 reinforcing steel mesh to maximize structural load capacity.
Concrete is only as good as the subgrade base. We excavate, level, lay a minimum of 50mm compacted roadbase, and pour concrete to a strict thickness of **100mm** for standard driveways and **125mm - 150mm** for heavy-duty traffic areas.
To control thermal movement and prevent random cracking, we cut expansion joints at engineered intervals (usually every 3 meters) and install expansion foam at joints abutting existing structures in line with standard building guidelines.
We mark out the area, excavate the organic soil to a required depth (typically 150mm to allow for base and concrete), dump and compact the subgrade using high-impact vibrating plates, and lay a compacted roadbase or gravel layer.
We erect sturdy timber formwork secured with steel stakes to define the layout. We then place plastic bar chairs and lay steel reinforcing mesh (SL72/SL82), securing it together to guarantee a strong internal skeleton.
Concrete is poured (using pump hire if accessibility is limited), screeded, and floated to create a flat, even surface. Depending on your choice, we apply a transverse heavy broom finish (non-slip), stencil patterns, or spray-coat color oxides.
We wash off the surface retardant for exposed aggregate, apply concrete curing compounds to control moisture, cut expansion joints to manage cracking, and finish the job with two coats of UV-resistant solvent-based acrylic sealer.
We are active across the northern corridor of the Gold Coast. Whether you are building a new home in the Gainsborough Greens estate, living near Yawalpah Road, Dixon Drive, or commuting from Coomera or Ormeau, we have local teams in Pimpama ready to quote.
A: Plain concrete typically starts around $65–$95 per square metre. Exposed aggregate finishes range from $90–$140 per square metre, and decorative resurfacing (covercrete) ranges from $45–$85 per square metre. Prices vary depending on excavation requirements, site slope, access, and thickness.
A: You can walk on the new concrete surface after 24–48 hours. However, we highly advise keeping light passenger vehicles off the driveway for at least 7 days, and heavier vehicles (trucks, caravans) off for 28 days until the concrete reaches full compressive strength.
A: Standard driveways inside your property boundary do not require council permits. However, the crossover—the section linking the curb to your property line—requires a Vehicular Crossing (VXO) permit from the City of Gold Coast and must adhere to their specific drawings.
A: Exposed aggregate concrete has the top layer of cement paste washed away to reveal natural pebbles and stones underneath. This provides a non-slip, decorative finish that hides dirt and stains, making it more durable and attractive than traditional smooth plain concrete.
